AROH is an NGO supported by
wellwishers,friends and volunteers. Everyone is of importance at AROH you
don't need to be a professional to volunteer with us.
We have opportunities in many different areas
and everyone can serve at AROH
Volunteers have no professional requirements for participation. Volunteers
typically share common characteristics such as flexibility, compassion, a
sense of adventure, and most important, the desire to work with and learn
from local people in the host community. Volunteers are drawn from all
occupations and backgrounds, and from throughout the world
Therefore if you're open to new challenges
and enjoy working and learning and working with the local people then you
can benefit from the relationship and interaction with the people.
What we ask you is patience, flexibility,
spirit of adventure and a sense of humor Our people are friendly, though
others provide some degree of predictability than others due to cultural
norm.
Each volunteer selects a service program that
best employs their experience and interests, and a program where the
volunteer feels engaged in a community project of lasting benefit.
Opportunities.
We have different areas service where you'll
volunteer in we need doctors, nurses, medical
workers,Administrators,teachers,skills trainers,contruction workers, and
other skills.
Some specific areas of need are listed below but AROH is
open to whatever your interest as you desire to support the children of
Uganda.
Vocational training center.
This center helps, widows, orphans, youths and the
community in making them learn life skills in
carpentry,tailoring,knitting,masonary, computer training.
we always welcome volunteers to help us teaching these skills.
Divine Hope School and St.Paul School.
We have two primary schools running in two different areas
,we invite those who want to interact and play with the children , but we
also welcome qualified teachers but will work hand in hand with the local
teachers available at school.
AROH HEALTH CENTER
AROH recently opened a health center and still under
staffed we welcome medical personnel to come and volunteer in our health
center.
But those who want to volunteer in the health center but with no skill
you're also invited you can work hand in hand with the staff around or
guiding you what to do.
AROH ORPHANAGE.
we building a new home for AROH orphanage so we need
people with skills in construction and other ides that will make the place
more enjoyable to the children.
