Main
Goal
The
main goal of AROH Uganda is to ensure the well being of orphaned children,
and widows facing welfare problems, especially those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Main
Strategy
Our
main strategy of supporting Orphans and Widows is through Formal
Education, Vocational Training and Income Generating Activities.
Main
Activities:
Sponsoring
Education of Orphans by providing school fees and scholastic requirements
Supporting
Women groups through the women Empowerment Program.
Mobile
Clinic especially in the rural areas for the rural person is really in
need.
Creating
Awareness in Communities on AIDS/HIV.
Evangelism
within the Communities, Schools.
Main
Achievements
Over
60 children mainly orphans, are directly benefiting through school fees
and scholastic requirements in their various schools. Many other children
have also benefited from one-time gifts from this organization and through
the widows supported by this organization.
About
20 women groups mainly widows, have trained with this organization into
new skills so that we can now support a lot more orphans indirectly.
We
have put youths in income generating activities has reached very good
levels of performance.
The
mobile clinic under the HIV/AIDS department is reaching out to various
districts meeting health challenges related to HIV/AIDS effects especially
the rural person.

Management Committee - Comprising of 5 members is responsible for;

Departments
Child
Welfare
Responsible
for all children benefiting from AROH and the women activities in the
organization. Coordinator of the Child Welfare Department heads this
department that comprises of Vocational Instructors, Teachers, some
Volunteers and other support staff.
HIV/AIDS
Responsible
for counseling and sensitizations on HIV/AIDS. Coordinator of the HIV/AIDS
Department heads this department that comprises of medical staff, AIDS
counselors and others.
Evangelism
Responsible
for moral/spiritual support in schools and other communities. Coordinator
of the evangelism Department heads this department comprising of ,
volunteers and others
